The position is responsible for planning annual fleet sales volumes, developing existing and new corporate clients, and managing fleet business in terms of revenue, profitability and customer services. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible to ensure that corporate client vehicles are maintained in a professional and timely manner.
Key Performance Indicator Description:
•Achieves set objectives and targets for his Region on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
•Contributes to the achievement of the Company business plan objectives by supporting Company and regional management.
•Participate in development of the fleet's annual sales & staffing plan and Key Performance Indicators.
•Organizes departmental staff by allocating territories, key clients, visitation schedule, visitation reporting.
•Sets weekly and monthly sales targets to the sales staff.
•Manages the fleet operations to ensure compliance with Brand Standards (presentation material, appearance of staff, customer handling, etc.).
•Directs the visitations of sales staff on a weekly basis and assists in closing sales. Ensures proper recording and follow-up of cold call, appointments, and new clients. Acts as first line contact to customers to facilitate resolution of any customer issues.
•Coordinates with Regional Manager quotation pricing strategies for the customer, liaising with marketing where required.
•Manages sales pricing and discount policy in line with the agreed pricing structure and delegation matrix.
•Attends to all customers' operational needs and ensure visibility by maintaining ongoing contact (calling targets) and relationship with them in order to proactively identify and react to these needs accordingly.
•Utilizes a variety of lead sources including the SPOT database of corporate customers who regularly rent vehicles.
•Monitors that all corporate lease vehicles undergo proper regularly scheduled maintenance.
•Ensures that such maintenance is being performed quickly such with minimal inconvenience to the client.
•Monitors maintenance costs closely and looks for ways to reduce costs without compromising speed of service or quality.
•Resolves customer problems within 24 hours of the problem being raised.
•Ensures excellent service is delivered to customers by reviewing customer service surveys, customer feedback and meeting with staff to implement improvements.
•Maintains regular contact with key corporate clients by visiting them on a monthly basis along with Regional Manager.
