FOLDING & GLUING MACHINE OPERATOR-Printing & Packaging - Obeikan Investment Group Feb 5th 2013, 07:58 Operates semi-automatic and fully automatic folding gluing machines to fold & glue various box style with different type of box structures such as side seem, crush bottom, 4 corner, six corner etc… As folding gluing process becomes increasingly automated, machine operators work with computers to monitor quality, control machine action and make necessary adjustments. Also required Knowledge of using barcode scanner or sensors, using of proper tools as per the box or carton construction. Must have experience to handle or BOBST folding gluing machines ( Alpena, Master fold, Domino, Fuego) Plan & arrange next job material or consumables in advance (outer boxes, wooden pallets, glue) in order to quick set up or make ready with the minimum time limit. Grasp the benefits from the learning environment which the company provides. Enhance the learning culture through Implementing and using the training tools provided by the company. To provide the adequate on job technical training to improve the skills of the Helper. Maintaining a positive attitude towards his job, supervisors, and colleagues. Operates folding gluing machine in order to produce glued material based on specifications mentioned on Process Slip or Job bag. Maintains records of work in progress & examines completed jobs to determine if quality standards are met. Adopt a positive attitude to encourage effective communication and teamwork.
