Project Analyst - Medical Equipment / Devices - Business Enhancers Mar 26th 2013, 08:41 Responsible for coordinating the Medical Equipment and Device integration and deployment for the Patient Electronically Accessible Record for life (PEARL) Program. Role is responsible for: • Developing and ensuring adoption of Medical Device Equipment integration best practices and methodologies to support the effective integration of medical equipment and devices for hospital operation. • Coordinating the receipt, review and processing to the PEARL vendors the Equipment/ Device Information including the integration specifications. • Coordinating the delivery schedule and liaising with PEARL vendors to update the MDI/BMDI development and testing plan to align with the device/ equipment delivery plan. • Coordinating with EA, TOP and ITP to review additional infrastructure that will be supplied for the operations of the equipment and integration with PEARL. • Coordinating with EA and TOP the critical systems DR/ Active/ Active Proposals and Implementation. • Coordinating the development of workflows to ensure clinical integration of equipment and devices within PEARL including the technical integration requirements. • Assisting with identifying the integrated education requirements for medical devices and equipment. • Supporting the development and monitoring the Medical Equipment and Devices deployment and testing plans of hospital commissioning. • Coordinating the PEARL clinical input device lists for deployment in the hospital (laptops, Mobile devices etc.) • Coordinating the establishments and maintenance of the PEARL device laboratory. • Providing secretarial support to the Medical equipment and device working group. • Communication management providing close liaison with the key stakeholders at Sidra including Medical Equipment Planners, Biomedical, Information Management and subject matter experts to validate that the deliverables meet their requirements.
