Retail Cards Business is a significant line of business for the Emirates NBD Retail business with over 1.2 million cards in circulation - 350K Credit cards and 900K Debit cards. To sustain the growth momentum in the cards business it is critical to implement new products, enhance existing offerings and leverage technology to deliver superior customer experience.
The RCB Project Delivery team is tasked with managing the implementation and delivery of all projects pertaining to Credit and Debit cards.
This role supports the Project Managers in the delivery of projects including the business requirement documentation, project planning, and coordination of the external and internal resources, conduct of UAT, go-live planning and execution of the plan.
The launch of new products requires a full time project management approach to work closely with Network International, ITN and other multifunctional units such as Channels, Transaction Banking, OPC and Obernet. Additionally the implementation involves extensive in-depth working with external partners such as the RTA, Card Schemes (Visa & MasterCard) and vendors for card plastic, personalization hardware and software.
Project Management
· Manage projects including new product & feature launches; operational issues that require permanent resolution through enhancements to existing systems.
· Use established project management techniques to ensure tracking of project milestones, updates to management and escalation of issues.
· Ensure timely delivery of the project keeping all stakeholders aligned.
·Track and manage the project budget including cost estimates, approvals, coordination with finance for accounting.
· Take end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of the project including the business requirement documentation, project planning, coordination of the external and internal resources, conduct of UAT, go-live planning and execution of the plan.
2. Business Requirement Analysis
·Interact with cross-functional business groups
·Understand / clarify and document business requirements
· Work with user groups to develop effective BRDs for systems development.
3. Management of User Testing
· Ensure the UAT of all projects is conducted with adequate rigor
·Coordinate UAT resources from outsourced vendors
· Manage UAT participation of internal departments / stakeholders
