Sustainability Consultant/ Sustainability Manager (LEED AP and PQP) - Alpin Apr 1st 2013, 04:18 Candidate shall be assigned to oversee an integrated sustainability team for projects within the Middle East and Europe. Alpin Limited is: A provider of sustainable green building consultancy services, headquartered in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi. The local team is composed of a diverse range of experts who lead their respective fields, including LEED APs, PQPs, CGPs, official sustainability trainers, commissioning authorities (CxA), construction managers, MBAs, and building physics PhDs. We also have commissioning authorities and consultants based in Munich, Vienna, London and other prominent global locations. If you are interested in being part of the innovative Alpin team, please visit us at: http://www.alpinme.com/about/our-people/ Roles and Responsibilities:  Operations & Management Overview of Sustainability team (Approximately 5 persons);  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with both clients and consultants. Ability to motivate team members;  Develop strategies for expanding integrated approaches to sustainable development for internal and external clients;  Participate as a team leader in carrying out specific global and local projects such as sustainable building projects, operational efficiency, etc.;  Quality control and review of reports;  Lead Presentations;  Business Development Support;  Support the company in its rapid growth plans;  Understand and implement the principles of project management (scheduling, resource leveling, effective meetings, client relation)  Manage the green building design and LEED/Estidama/QSAS documentation process as well as project specification, calculation, plans and submittal for LEED/Estidama/QSAS compliance;  Coordinate with/support contractors including MEP and civil engineers;  Conduct product and technology research related to sustainability;  Report directly to Managing Director. Salary range: AED 12,000 - AED 20,000 (including allowances) and annual ticket, for candidates with 3-6 years of experience. If you have significant experience (minimum 7 years) and are applying for a managerial role, your salary will be adjusted according to your experience.
