Electrical Specialist - SRACO Saudi Arabia May 27th 2013, 21:15 Provides technical back up to assigned maintenance section and the operations department in the day to day maintenance of electrical equipment such as substation equipment, transformers, generators, motors, switch gears, batteries, plant lighting etc., Carries out special duties and investigations related to persistent, unusual or critical problems. Maintains statistical process control (or similar methods) monitoring of all major maintenance equipment and makes recommendations for proper maintenance operation. Ensure that the maintenance quality critical procedures are used. Modifies such procedures as necessary. Develops necessary preventive Maintenance (PM) and routine maintenance checklist/procedures. Review PM records and verifies quality of PM data entry. Prepare report with action plan for rectification. Send reports to Reliability Engineer and Supervisor on the effectiveness of the reliability issues. Prepare and approve spare parts proposals for electrical equipment. Coordinate with condition monitoring team and review test results. Review test certificate for acceptability of electrical equipment and request for additional tests, as required.
