1. Recommends, develops and implements innovative strategies and plans for HR search-and-recruitment operations.
2. Responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating innovative strategies for the recruitment of licensed and non-licensed professional health care and management candidates for employment.
3. Liaise with Marketing and Communications in order to develop media recruitment strategies like Social Media platforms, in order to maximize recruitment advertising returns for staffing.
4. Participates in international recruitment events in order to attract the best candidates in their field.
5. Produces management information reports on all recruitment activities.
6. Assists the Director - Specialist Human Capital Deployment to oversee the day-to-day operations of the recruitment division of Human Resources.
7. Responsible for compiling Candidate Attraction Strategy.
8. Managing relationships with both local and international vendors and agencies to ensure key deliverables are met on time and within budgets.
9. Recommend new vendors and document vendor performance
10. Functions as HR expert regarding HR policies and procedures pertaining to recruitment in order to ensure full compliance to all regulatory requirements.
11. Required to provide advice and guidance to candidates, managers and clinicians across the organization with regards to fair recruitment practices
12. Ensures that all medical and clinical licenses required for the individual to practice locally is obtained and all the necessary due process are adhered to and followed up on.
13. Assists the Director - Specialist Human Capital Deployment in recommending/determining employment terms, compensation and benefits for different categories of employees.
14. Assists the Director - Specialist Human Capital Deployment in the annual/semiannual manpower planning exercise to ensure that the hospital is optimally staffed.
15. Manages the end to end recruitment process for new employees including:
a. Sorting resumes for the various Heads of Department
b. Conducting/arranging for interviews
c. Ensuring that HOD recommendations for new employee designations, grades, salaries and benefits are in line with approved HR policies
d. Drafting employee contracts and following-up with the respective signatories
e. Arranging for flights (for expatriates) and airport greeting
