A major Oil & Gas Company based in Muscat, Oman are currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer. We are only seeking applications from Omani Nationals for this position.
Job Profile
• Creates, coordinates, and evaluates the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company that include budgeting, tax planning, real estate, and conservation of assets.
• Approves and coordinates changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems.
• Oversees the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry.
• Coordinates the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
• Develops and implements finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
• Establishes and maintains appropriate internal control safeguards.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepares financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Recommends, develops and maintains financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
• Handles and interacts with the banks to acquire facilities for the Company.
• Interacts with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
