This individual will be assigned ownership of all BI related requirements in UASC. He/she will also be required to liaise between the technical team and the business users in accordance with the BICC Manager and technically ensure that the implementation/CR meets the corresponding department's needs and provides sound data.
- Conduct Initial Business Analysis
- Delivery of the requirements to the BI technical team and acting as a liaison between the business and BI team
- Documenting and prioritizing any CR requests that may occur
- Ensuring that the technical solution implemented will serve the purposes of the internal client
- Produce Test Case Document with user input, where required
- Initial testing of the output to make sure that the data quality is sound
- Follow up with vendors using an automated bug tracking tool
- Regression testing
- Smoke testing
- Impact analysis of any BI requirements on existing systems
- Needs to involve key users in the development and signoff of user test cases to ensure minimal CR request at testing phase
- Preparing end-user guides and training material on all BI systems
- Responsible for giving estimates on the duration of the testing activities
- Responsible for abiding to those estimates and monitoring vendors to ensure prompt delivery
- Responsible for impact analysis of system changes
- Responsible for the review of the project plan as a whole
