Job Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Sales Manager to lead the Catering Sales division with a track record of leading teams efficiently, maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients, building new relationships with potential clients and creating new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Thorough knowledge of the practices and procedures of the food and beverage, hospitality and catering businesses. Some experience in off-premise catering a strong plus.
- Develop and deliver catering sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by developing presentations for potential clients and maintaining up-to-date awareness of the company activities and industry trends.
- Develop banquet menus pricing and revenue minimums using current competitive data.
- Develop creative and attractive menu presentations for potential clients.
- Prepare quotes, contracts and responses for potential clients
- The Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of client liaison and build new client relationships within the marketplace on a continuous basis.
- Ability to execute and support the operational aspects of business booked.
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- Strong organizational traits, including excellent time management skills, hands-on and ability to work independently.
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, timeliness and results.
- Collaborative and entrepreneurial attitude in building business.
- Ability to successfully acquire new business and close deals.
