Supervision of production and plant operations:
• Assist Operations Manager in making monthly production plans
• Ensure that production targets are met, in line with quality, safety and sanitation standard
• Analyze the field readings from the plant to anticipate and resolve potential problems
• Take immediate steps in case of a machine breakdown to ensure that repair job is carried out within the minimum possible time
• Regularly monitor the warehouse for raw material stock and product inventory to ensure DCP dispatch as per plan
• Ensure the availability of utilities (filtration, water treatment plant etc) for plant requirements
• Supervise general housekeeping of the plant to meet regulatory requirements
Co-ordination and follow up:
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for periodic shutdown and repair activities
• Coordinate and follow up for supply of raw materials to avoid any downtime on account of unavailability of raw materials
Inspection & reporting:
• Make regular inspection of the production area and supervise the performance of equipment & personnel to ensure maximum efficiency, quality and safety
• Provide inputs to Operations Manager for preparation of weekly, monthly and annual reports to monitor plant's performance
