IT Specialist - Ingeus Company Limited Apr 23rd 2013, 05:51 The IT Specialist role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT operation in Saudi Arabia in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. A hands-on IT specialist is required to maintain IT-related activities in Ingeus Saudi Arabia, as well as working closely with in country infrastructure providers and UK support teams. - Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals. - On behalf of Ingeus, manage the third party infrastructure providers. - Co-ordinate the provision of end-user services, including UK Service desk and technical support services. - Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations. - Keep current with the latest technologies. - Practice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment. - Benchmark, analyze report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems. - Help develop and then implement all IT policies and procedures. Knowledge & Experience: - Microsoft MCSE Qualification and Cisco CCNA Qualification is a plus. - Saudi National - Arabic/English Fluency is a MUST - Must be able to travel to all reporting sites on a regular basis - Strong technical, installation and configuration knowledge of networks and network equipment, including firewalls, switches and routers. - Strong technical, installation and configuration knowledge of Windows servers, Windows PC's, and Printing. - Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards. - Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory configuration and ability to manage accounts on Active Directory Domains. - Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development. - Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
