About Your Job:
You will manage the day to day operation of the shops effectively and efficiently maximizing sales and ensuring the security of stocks and cash in accordance with company policy of Qatar Duty Free.
You will ensure effective communication of relevant information to sales assistant and supervisors and shift sales targets are achieved on a daily basis by the effective deployment of staffs and management of stock. You will manage the shop floor in accordance with Qatar Duty Free policy so as to establish an operation that meets performance levels as outlined by management. You will maintain a high level of services through capable and well trained staff and submit suggestions to senior management for any improvements required in operations.
About You:
Ideally you will have at least 5 years' of job related experience with at least 3 years in the Retail or Service Industry. You must have prior experience in working for a high performance driven organisation and knowledge of airport and service industry is preferable. You will be high school qualified with retail I.T systems working knowledge and financial knowledge of cash handling, banking and working with budgets.
Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow, Strong mentoring and coaching skills, Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills, Ability to foster teamwork among team members, Well developed interpersonal skills, Excellent written and oral communication skills preferred.
