About This Job:
To be a part of the Team working to handle the Growth in scope of Pressure Pumping Operations in India.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Operates company vehicle on a daily basis between each district / off-site location to deliver products and service equipment. Loads and unloads vehicles as required to maintain service schedules.
Responsible for the safety of other employees, the prevention of damage to operating equipment and customer well equipment.
Participates in rigging up BJ equipment on location, which includes connecting hoses, high-pressure iron, etc. to equipment and to the customer’s well head.
Maintains assigned equipment and inspection records.
Completes pre and post trip inspections plus fuels and completely services the unit.
May assist in training or indirectly supervising entry level Equipment Operators.
Handles special projects, as assigned
Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.Essential Qualifications / Requirements:
Good educational background with High School Diploma (or equivalent).
The candidate must possess a proactive and positive approach Safety and Quality.
Fluent in the English language (written and spoken).
2 – 3 years (minimum) experience as an Equipment Operator – completion of Senior Equipment Operator requirements, as per the career advancement program, preferred.Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:
Candidate must be willing to attend Basic Cementing, Fracturing and Engineering Handbook courses within the next 6-8 months to progress.
Ideally time served as a mechanic.
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
Must be able to operate 148-style Cement Pumps and/or Falcons & RAMS, or their equivalents in the industry.
Full understanding of Baker Hughes standard practices and HSE policies and procedures.
Candidate will have extensive experience with land-based operations. Being able to work in a stressful environment under conditions both harsh and remote is a must.Company Overview:
