About Your Job::
As a Hygiene Officer you will be responsible for completing the highest level of sanitation and hygiene standards in the food preparation, restaurants and foodservice areas of Qatar Duty Free F&B. You will ensure all food served to the guests and employees is free of microbiological and physical contamination, and all work areas are conform to the minimum requirements set by local health authorities. You will be working along with the Executive Head Chef and Food Service Manager in controlling spoilage and extension of shelf life and will assist the Chefs Office with various administrative tasks as required. This role also includes identifying and controlling all the steps and processes which can lead to a hazard - putting that in the right documentation - inspect the premises regularly and advise on short comings and potential hazards in that area.
You will take charge and manage all Heath and Safety aspects that concern the business, perform Health & Safety Audits on all Units in line with Group HS policies on a regular basis and advise Management on all matters pertaining to safety and health. You will handle all assessment reports, action plan, reports and implementation with the agreed timelines and Plan and implement Food Management, Workplace health & safety programmes and promotional activities (e.g. inspections, campaigns and competitions) that will improve safety and health awareness. You will establish and maintain a system incident reporting, investigation and analysis.You will conduct ISO22000 review at least once every quarter to review the achievements of the Safety and Health Objectives and improvements to the ISO22000 system. You will be responsible for the Production Kitchen, Cafes, satellite kitchens operated by QDF F&B both front and back operations' safety, hygiene and maintenance of staff as per central kitchen SOPs.
About You ::
You will need to be a University graduate with a minimum 5 years of job-related experience with at least 3-5 yrs experience as a Hygine in charge, managing Food Safety & Hygiene in a commercial catering business. You will have a general ISO 22000 experience and knowledge of HACCP.
