Job Purpose:
To provide support to the Director Account Management CT in terms of achieving objectives and targets and assist in identifying risks / threats to the existing business.

Job Responsibilities:
1. To prepare visit plans / follow up schedule and keep up to date customer profile available as per allocated
trade thereby maximizing account value and building customer loyalty, keep the Director Account
Management informed of any change to the visit plan.
2. To identify new sales prospects, review, evaluate and report on relevant market data and information. Follow
up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity for new sales opportunity.
3. To promote DP World facilities and services, represent DP World at events, exhibitions and conferences in
addition to sales call.
4. To review Port Tariff on a yearly basis, recommend tariff amendments based on market feedback and
customer requirements, negotiate special rates and customer incentives, outside normal tariff guidelines
5. To prepare daily sales report, monthly commodity report, and quarterly performance report for director review
and decision making.
6. Provide customers with product and service information (CFS, Commercial Trucking, Cold and Cool Store ),
prepare presentations and proposals as and when required and resolve client concerns by attending to their
enquiries and quotations for better customer service within 24-48 hours
7. Handle any customer complaints and filter to Customer Care Follow up with Customer to ensure complaint is
resolved and customers are satisfied.
8. To establish and maintain current client and potential customer relationships by hosting social and informal
meetings for customer satisfaction.
9. To conduct proper market intelligence with marketing prior to meeting the customers, keep informed
regarding industry/market information, to continuously improve knowledge and performance. Masters and
maintains vast knowledge of traders business, competition, and latest industry news and trends.
10. Ensure that the use of Dubai Trade E-suite is promoted towards the customers Based on customer feedback
provide input to the Customer Care department on the need for new E-services on Dubai Trade or new EDI
Services.
11. To review monthly accounts receivable, prepare yearly volume budget as per allocated trade account and
provide input for next year budget based on customer feedback and volume forecast.
12. To maintain a direct contact with business groups working under the Dubai Chamber umbrella by scheduling
quarterly meetings with the business group.
