HSE HEAD Aug 26th 2013, 06:08 Key Responsibilities: • Set up a HS&E Function & Structure across all BU. • Ensures completion of all warehouse activities are in compliance with specification, code and standard for HSE. • Evaluates Non conformances and proposes resolution plans. • Drive the safety culture for the organization both in the Head Office and out at site locations. • Keep and maintain HSE statistics, HSE training records and relevant Acts and Regulations. • Ensuring adequate site security at all locations. • Ensuring Health monitoring of employees is done to National standards. • Work with insurance industry to minimise commercial risk and policy costs. • Develop dangerous occurrence recording systems and ensure investigation and reporting of such incidences occur in a fair and transparent manner and implement reduction measures in cooperation with relevant BU managers. • Carry out Investigations into breaches of HSE policies, dangerous occurrences, accidents etc. • Ensure safety induction training for new employees and contractors is provided and procedures and guidelines are in place to be followed for provision of training. • Additional ad hoc duties as directed by Line Manager.
