Regional Financial Controller - MNC - Manpower Middle East Sep 18th 2013, 05:06 This is a key position reporting to the CFO. You will be responsible for leading accounting, internal controls, treasury and statutory compliance functions; ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and corporate polices; liaise with Corporate Auditor, External Auditor, Bankers and Tax authorities; drive business process improvement projects with Share Service Center; provide insight to country finance manager, RP&A, tax and regional team on financial performance, balance sheet risk, internal control weakness, statutory filing status, ad hoc project status and pending tax matters; provide advisory and support service to finance and non-finance community Principal Responsibilities: • Manage the accounting month end closing process in a timely and good quality manner • Accountable for below key closing functions performed by SSC and in-country team a. Treasury & Leasing b. General Accounting c. Credit Management & Collection d. Internal Trading & Inventory Management e. Fixed Assets f. Accounts Payable Management g. Balance Sheet Review and Sign off • Detailed Balance Sheet Review and Cashflow analysis and forecast • Provide guidance & support to the In-country Finance team • Provide professional financial support services to the non-Finance community and HQ with useful analysis/explanation of business plans & financial modelling. • Work with the RP&A team in region to develop effective reporting and financial analysis in line with best practice in UK. • Ensure compliance of Finance Polices, IAS and respective accounting standards of local markets • Work with in country finance to ensure SOX and statutory audit compliance • Being key stakeholder in the implementation of ERP system in the region. • Initiate monthly Finance review with RP&A, Tax and country finance manager to review actual results, balance sheet, cashflow, and pending audit, statutory filing, internal control, indirect and direct tax matters and ad hoc projects Job Details Date Posted: 2013-09-18 Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job Role: Accounting/Banking/Finance Company Industry: Telecommunications; Finance/Economics Preferred Candidate Career Level: Mid Career Apply Now - Jobs in UAE - Accounting/Banking/Finance Jobs in UAE - Search All Jobs
