Our client is an expanding luxury fashion organization based in Dubai. They are currently seeking a Merchandising Manager; to support a current compliment of staff in the Buying, Operations and Marketing departments.
As the perfect candidate you will be required to meet and exceed personal and department targets. As well as manage projects on time and make others aware of their contribution and effort towards achieving targets.
Some of the responsibilities will include;
• Create and implement an ambiance appropriate to the prestige lifestyle image of the store.
• Build strong relationships with key clients and contribute in creating effective client relations to create repeat and continued business. Address client negotiations regarding returns, process payment terms, markdowns, GWP's or any relevant support.
• Provide regular product knowledge and sales training to sales team.
• Oversee visual merchandising of stores.
• Ensure that store procedures and guidelines for merchandise display and storage are implemented.
• Provide sell through data to the business on a weekly basis.
• Gather information from Section Managers on customer preferences and buying behaviour.
• Liaise with brands to ensure deliveries are done in a timely manner as per store requirements.
• Stock Reconciliations with stores and results posted with IT. Providing reports of delivery windows and order status on a regular basis to key depts. including: accounts, logistics, stockroom, store manager.
