JOB ROLE
To Manage the performance of the Operations Division in order to maximize sales and profit potential of each restaurant.
DUTIES SUMMARY:
- Develops the Restaurant Division's strategy in alignment with the company's overall strategy.
- Participates in the decision-making on key strategic management matters within the scope of the Management Committee.
- Develops the operations division budget, and oversees the financial performance through review of periodic financial statements and reports.
- Develops policies and procedures for Restaurant Operations in collaboration with the Organizational Development Department.
- Establishes processes and develops guidelines for Restaurant Managers and Marketing division to ensure that restaurants properly execute local store marketing, for promotions and the execution of menu products or new products and processes.
- Oversees the performance of company-owned restaurants in terms of quality through the Restaurant Operations Review, and develops an action plan to improve their performance.
- Enhances the dining experience, food quality, presentation and service style by ensuring that the restaurants meet standard operational systems, restaurant environmental programs and Food safety standards.
- Participates in defining the store lay-out standards (service areas position and size, production areas lay out, store warehouse).
- Stays up-to-date of the latest developments in the Restaurant Operations field.
- Participates in the creation of innovative recipes and in the continuous update of the menu within the scope of the Product Development Committee.
- Coordinates implementation and execution of new products consistently within the restaurants.
- Reviews ROR to assess trends/opportunities throughout the market and works with Operations Managers to create and execute improvement plans for customer service.
- Develops, trains, and contributes to continuously improving the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the Area Managers ensuring that they are qualified and competent, properly coached, in order to handle the demands of their jobs and achieve their objectives
