Senior Merchandiser - Food Retail - Kuwait:
Our food division is made up of a portfolio of different cuisines and dining concepts providing a diverse range of outlets. From quick service, casual dining provided by Pei Wei through to the high-end, quality dining experience of Veranda, there is a dining concept to suit all hospitality backgrounds. Brands include: Texas Roadhouse, P.F. Chang's, The Cheesecake Factory, Dean & Deluca, Katsuya, Le Pain Quotidien, Asha's and Pizza Express.
The Role:
As a Senior Merchandiser you will manage all trade reporting including daily sales and waste reports, range review analysis and any ad hoc report requirements. You will also be responsible for the effective training of all Food Retail staff and store staff in use of GOLD system.
Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Maintain all data and item catalogue information
* Produce the Daily Sales and Waste Report, Sunday Trade Pack, Weekly WSSI for all divisions
* Manage the relationship with IT, ensuring satisfactory outcome and solution for all IT and system requirements for Food Retail.
* Manage the transition from existing GOLD to new GOLD. Work with IT on developing solution and implementing best practice and structure of GOLD to ensure data integrity and full function of the system.
* Oversee and provide support to store GOLD officers to ensure that all data processing is accurate and up to date.
* Work with stores to validate data entered during monthly stocktakes. Generate exception report and summary for Commercial Director approval.
* Produce a daily sales report for Food Retail - including turnover, margin, cost and waste.
