Inventory Control Accountant & Material Cost - Gulf Elevators & Escalators Ltd Feb 26th 2013, 08:04 • Recording of daily in/out inventory transactions in delta or ERP. • Checking of inventory randomly from time to time. actual Vs system • Checking in and out vouchers signature and receiving. • Dealing with the production people and receiving cop from the production report for accounting entries from phase to phase. • Distribute the cost of materials on the production orders. • Prepare the monthly Material Cost statement. • Compare the total materials cost in the costing dept. with the material account in the G.L. • Weekly Scrap Report. • Daily visit to factory to evaluate WIP and finished goods • Monthly evaluation of inventory. • Evaluation of slow moving items report and prepare provision • Keeping all original receiving vouchers and copy of issue vouchers • Distribute the raw material cost on production orders • Determine the % of raw material cost in WIP • Cost of material actual Vs budget • Monthly report quantity and value. • Any assignment given by dept. head.
