Purpose of the post
Under the supervision of the Human Resource Responsible for Iraq, the Training Relay is the focal point for all Training matters of ICRC Iraq Delegation
Main Responsibilities
• Assess the training needs in Iraq, plan dates of ad hoc courses designed by the Learning and Development Unit (LnD), contribute to the selection process of participants for the above-mentioned courses, and keep record of the budgeted training figures of the Planning for Results
• Under the supervision of LnD trainers, conduct different modules of ad hoc training designed by the LnD
• Plan at the national level for the course "Working with the ICRC" & other courses as relevant
• Organize courses provided by the LnD and/or external providers
• Evaluate the training conducted by external providers and training output
• Conduct the satisfaction evaluation (and learning evaluation when needed) for the above- mentioned courses
• Provide report and keeps internal communication in good flow
• Organize yearly meeting with local Training Relays (TR) (lesson learn and outcome of courses)
• Coordinate/support local TR in IQ in planning and organizing "Working with the ICRC" Course
• Coach local TR on formulating course objectives, design and content
• Participate at the annual Training Relay meeting and any training of trainers course (ToT) necessary for the achievement of the objectives of the Iraq Training Relay function
