•To act as the single point of contact for site coordination, installation and commissioning of a national reach telecommunications network in Niger.
•Installation, scheduling, quality control & inspection, on site material management, site status reporting and client interface management.
•Management of in-country logistics for manpower, plant & equipment
•Configuration management of SDH network solution in cooperation with the client and back-office engineering teams.
Project Engineering
•Execute project work schedules and manage and coordinate site installation and engineering teams.
•Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
•Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored as defined by agreed procedures.
•Manage logistics of personnel and equipment in-country to maintain schedule continuity
•Ensure that the installed solution is technically robust and that commissioning procedures are followed.
•Manage client expectations in terms of schedule and workflow
•Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and enhance the client relationships.
Site Service
•Understand the detailed engineering drawings and documents to ensure site work carried out accordingly.
•Oversee field activities and interface with Senior Project Manager to provide daily updates on work progress
•Be the first point contact for site related project issues
•Take a lead role during site visits and discuss technical solutions with the relevant parties involved
•Manage the technical solution ensuring that Installation, configuration and testing is carried out to approved standards.
•Assure the safety and security of company personnel and assets in-country
•Collect and control quality of site audit reports, site drawings and as-built documents
•Manage assigned subcontractors to execute the project according to the defined schedule and quality
•Generate site activity reports for all involved with site activities
•Generate as-built drawings, test results and return the data to engineering teams for submission to client
•Perform installation and commissioning works on site.
•Perform pre-FAT/IFAT/SAT
