JOB DESCRIPTION :
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
1. Achieves all financial objectives including budgeted Sales, Gross Margin, Cost Budgets and Net Profits.
2. Complete Marketing function at the country level in coordination with the corporate Marketing / Brand Team
3. Warehousing/Distribution function at the country level
4. Business Development function in line with the agreed business plans.
5. Adhere to stores operating policies and procedures.
6. Providing regular feedback to the COO and Brand Manager/Merchandising manager on the merchandise and market in general
7. Responsible to ensure visual merchandising standards in the stores as per the set brand guidelines
8. Manage the IT, Logistics and Finance function at the store level.
Supervisory Activities:
1) Ensure highest level of customer service & customer satisfaction.
2) Ensure housekeeping and cleaning standards.
3) Ensure safety standards.
4) Ensure post sales services and customers return policies.
5) Ensure merchandise return inspection.
6) Ensure timely response to customer feedback.
7) Handle and resolve sales staff grievances.
8) Ensure Timely collection and return of merchandise from warehouse.
Execution Activities:
1) Adhere to company policies and procedures of retail operations.
2) Monitor and control efficient operation of pay units.
3) Monitor all types of payments.
4) Ensure merchandise display as per standards.
5) Ensure staff follows company policies on service and pay point procedures.
6) Ensures highest hygiene and safety standard in the store.
7) Ensure staff rotations and shifts are followed.
8) Plan staffing schedules and adequate staff coverage.
9) Assist brand managers and visual merchandisers in implementation of visual merchandising plans.
10) Review stock levels and requisitions for various territories.
11) Assist timely stock taking.
12) Provide suggestions to the Territory Retail Managers.
13) Evaluate and train staff for improved efficiency.
