Heating, Ventilating & Air-Conditioning (HVAC) System Operation Supervisor will supervise the Chilled Water Plant, its associated structures and network's day-to-day operations and ensures that supply of required quantity and quality of chilled water is delivered to KAUST Main Campus Buildings and its Commercial Facilities this includes supervisory work responsible for continuous operation and efficient process control of the chilled water plant and records.
Major Responsibilities
• Monitors the Chilled Water Plant operations and Service Provider's performance on a day-to-day basis, which includes major equipments such as Chillers, Pumps, Motors, Air Handling Units, Cooling Tower cells and Refrigerant Management Systems as well as associated equipments such as valves including valve boxes in the Chilled Water Distribution System, strainers, tanks and chemical dosing systems contained in the Chilled Water Plant Operations.
• Coordinates between maintenance and operations to ensure that Preventive Maintenance (PM) of equipments in the Chilled Water Plant is performed according to schedule and standards.
Competencies
• Extensive knowledge and familiarity with all mechanical engineering and chiller plant standards.
• Ability to apply an engineering analysis and appraisal to maintenance techniques and troubleshooting.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
• Minimum of 7 years experience in Chiller Plants with capacity of 5000 tons or higher and experience in HVAC systems operation.
• Must have a valid driving license.
