Senior Pricing Agent | Qatar Airways | Chennai - Qatar Airways Jun 21st 2013, 05:00 About your Job: Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be required to assess QR Fare structure and ensure QR fares is competitvely priced enabling sales ot achieve their commerical objectives in a ever evolving market scenario. You will be required to evaluate pricing requests based on the QR pricing procedures. All pricing proposals must be reviewed based on the OAL practice, previous flight performance and future forecast.You will need to identify routes having weak demand and requests special fares to gain QR Market share and new points via QR Gateway and recommend/request SPA sectors beyond new routes to establish market fares. You will be keeping a revenue track of promotional fares/private fares offered in the market. You will also be required to evaluate different MIS and use the data to measure QR market share and take corrective actions. About You: You will need to hold a bachelors degree or a Diploma in Travel and tourism. PC literate with knowledge of MS Office applications is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of job related experience is required. You will be need to have a thorough knowledge of CRS, fare construction, ticketing, proration and should have a proven understanding of revenue management principles and practices.
