About the Job:
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management and coordination of the Hamad International Airport Cargo Terminal and facilites on a 24/7 rotating shift.
You will ensure safety and security of the operation, facility, staff and visitors at all times.You will be making appropriate decisions consistent with Qatar Airways and Qatar Aviation Services Cargo corporate objectives within cost management principles and will be main point of contact for all facilites management issues during their shift.
You will also be required to drive all operational departments in delivering the agreed customer service standards for each product type including new products and will be the interface and work in conjunction with Systems and IT providers to ensure minimal operational disruption.
About You:
The applicant must have a Bachelors degree or equivalent College Diploma with at least 10 years experience in Cargo warehouse operations of which the last 3 years should be under managerial levels. Only candidates with excellent communication skills in English need apply. Command over spoken and written Arabic is a distinctive factor.
You should have demonstrated ability in freighter aircraft handling with a working understanding of C2K and E-freight and should have excellent project management skills. You should have a thorough knowledge of Safety management Systems and its implementation in the workforce.
The applicant must be a computer and systems literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft office and experience using Oryx and CWIS will be advantageous.
