QRH Systems Specialist | Qatar Airways | Doha - Qatar Airways Sep 9th 2013, 05:00 About Your Job: The System Specialist role is to provide quality support in the analysis, design, development, maintenance and modification of the QR Holiday systems and auxiliary software products required to support the QR Holiday business of Qatar Airways. You will also require to provide technical support for the QRH staff and users of the QRH system. The System Specialist will need to apply excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help support the QRH business to ensure that QRH system associated project deliveries are met according to specification within timescales and to high quality standard. Working closely with management and administrate the QRH system, provide technical support for QRH staff and QRH users. To assist in the preparation of user and test plans, working in line with business requirements analysis and translating these into functional system specifications. About You: You will need to hold a graduate degree or equivalent levels of education, preferable a degree in IT/Software. Have at least 5-7 years' experience in Leisure or IT industry, preferably in the airline or related domains using the software Rez Gateway would be an advantage. You will have experience of analysing business requirements, processes and workflows to translate these into formal and specific requirements. You will have excellent understanding of the internet, intranet, extranet and various system designs. You will have excellent technical problem solving skills with experience of interacting directly with end users. Preferably some knowledge of E-commerce and experience of using a retail booking system. You must have excellent English, written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills (Arabic is an added advantage), must be confident in dealing with people at all different levels. You must have good team work skills, leadership, planning and organising skills.
