CH2M HILL Design Manager Training Sites- Doha, Qatar
Job Purpose:
Qatar will be hosting the 2022 FIFA World CupTM and become the first Middle East nation in history to stage this event. The associated construction programme will be part of a major country regeneration programme including the development of required infrastructure, competition and noncompetitive venues.
CH2M HILL is the programme management (PMC) responsible for the construction management of competition venues, training sites, associated common domain precincts and the coordination of the regeneration programme integration works, acting on behalf of the client Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee.
Job Purpose:
This position achieves organizational and department results by overseeing the Design Professional and Technician levels. The incumbent has deep knowledge of multiple subject areas or disciplines understands how own department integrates across the organization and impacts CH2M HILL and understands industry practices and competitors. This position is responsible for delivering results for a business/market segment, and for allocating business/market segment resources including budget responsibility.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for:
preparing design criteria and strategies for the design of projects and equipment
working with Project Managers and Design Consultants to deliver the projects on time and on budget,
participating in or managing in-house technical reviews
delivering project designs to comply with programme requirements
utilizing company resources efficiently to accomplish assigned work.
Basic Qualifications
Key qualifications for this position include:
The successful candidate must have the following:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred.
15 years of experience preferred.
Chartered Status or Membership of Professional Accredited Association preferred
