Sets the vision for the Brand - its role in the market, its identity and values (reason to believe) and overall brand position versus competitors. Insprires others across the business to get behind the brand & support plans to deliver profitable growth

Owns the Brand P&L & develops Brand Drive Plans wth the relaevant site teams to grow each of the key Mezzan Brands to deliver optimum sales, profit and brand share

Responsible for full Portfolio management of the Drive Brand ranges - regularly reviewing and identifying commerically viable new product opportunities, recommending delists of poor or non core skus. Ensuring we have the right products in our range with the appropriate quality and packaging

Defines the Pricing strategy for the Brand and sku portfolio vs competitors to ensure logica competitive pricing and sensible price architecture within our Brand ranges/families

Works with external agencies to ensure our brands have the right packaging (in the right format using appropriate packaging materials) to convey the product and brand proposition to the consumer in a compelling & engaging way. Ensuring high impact packaging to ensure optimum visibility on shelf

Develops Promotion Guidelines to ensure effective use of promotions to drive specific shopper behaviour at point of purchase - be that trial or repeat purchase. Minimises any 'over promotion' of our brands which could be margin dilutive to the business and deliver no real return for the brand in terms

Responsible for effective Trade Channel development - having the right products in the right place (at the right price and with the right level of promotional activity)

Ensures the highest product Quality standards are maintained. Takes decisive action on customer complaints and proactively resolves any issues where a recurring complaint is evident.

Works with the Advertising & Communications Manager to ensure that the comms plan is in line and supports each Brand Drive Plan

Analyses market & consumer data together with ex factory data to identify future sources of growth & builds this into planning discussions with site teams

Engages consumers/shoppers in research to ensure a close understanding of their need states, views on our brands versus competitors and to assess new opportunity areas
