Manage and supervise manufacturing/production activity in factories
Establish the strategy for manufacturing technologies and capacities for products.
Manage and set the manufacturing plan utilizing available manufacturing resources of the organization
Monitor and supervise the manufacturing of products to required quality levels according to plan and cost targets and to meet sales demand and on time delivery.
Manage all manufacturing related departments and processes including workshop, production planning and control, design & process engineering, maintenance & tool shop.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determine strategy for future manufacturing process technologies and capacities.
Plan, direct, and coordinate the manufacturing of products in compliance with company goals and objectives.
Establish and control conditions of production in order to satisfy customer and quality specifications.
Direct the plant managers in the development and execution of operating strategies and plans.
Establish performance metrics, allocate resources and provide support to departmental management teams for continuous improvement.
Identify key drivers of cost, quality, risks, revenues, profits, growth, competition, and performance, Determine root cause of drivers and manage plan for improvement.
Integrate inter/intra department and facility activities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
Accelerate product and service deliveries to achieve customers' total satisfaction
Champion Lean activities throughout the Manufacturing Process
Manage and control the manufacturing department and facilities within the approved budget.
Drive continuous process improvement related to quality, on-time delivery and cost
Organize and direct workflow to satisfy production requirement in a cost-efficient manner
Maintain employee safety and morale by creating safe and efficient working environment
Maintain proper employment skills and levels through selecting, interviewing, and training of personnel
Supervise entire operation of production under the guidance of plant managers
Liaise with Sales Services, Production Planning, Production and Supply Chain to drive demand and operations planning cycle utilizing the facilities in the most cost efficient manner.
Drive design for manufacturability requirements into new and existing products to help achieve economies of scale
