Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of work experience
2 years minimum in planning
Planning Engineer
Basic Functions:
· Establish an overall project schedule
· Evaluate and validate Contractors schedules including critical path & resource analysis
· Monitor progress and prepare forecast
· Evaluate proposed change orders
· Scenario planning to evaluate risk & opportunity
· Evaluation and monitoring of procurement linkages, key deliverables & orders
· Weekly & monthly update of project schedule & reporting requirements
· Monitors, tracks, and reports progress performance against baseline schedule
· Forecasts completion dates and final performance
· Identifies schedule variances and trends and make recommendations for corrective action
