Compliance Officer draft the financial rules and regulations and ensures that financial practices are in line with statutory legislation and regulations.
The job holder is accountable to ensure the compliance accuracy with policies, procedures and statutory regulations applied within Qatar Rail and effectively reflect them on the ERP System.
• Conducts assessment of policies, rules and regulations on a timely basis to ensure continued compliance and accuracy with state laws and regulations.
• Supports implementation of the ERP software/ systems to ensure that business requirements are applied and in compliance with financial regulations.
• Reviews on the system to ensure that financial transactions are in compliance with Qatar Rail's policies and procedures and Qatar regulations.
• Investigates any discrepancies found in financial reports.
• Investigates any violation of policy/ regulations and decides on the suitable corrective actions.
• Assists in conducting all investigation
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial compliance.
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
