Our Global Oil & Gas Practice consists of a network of more than 8,300 professionals with extensive experience working in the oil and gas industry. Our professionals have experience serving a wide range of companies - independent exploration and production companies, oilfield services companies, independent refiners, major integrated corporations and national oil companies.
Our Middle East & North Africa (MENA) practice is based in Abudhabi, serving the whole of the region through both centrally and locally based resources. Our practice for all Oil & Gas advisory clients is driven centrally through the Oil & Gas Centre, and our professionals are a key part of the global network.
As a member of the Middle East Oil & Gas regional advisory team, you will be based in the firm's Global Oil & Gas Centre in Abudhabi, and working with companies across the Middle East. You will build valued executive level business relationships in the market and with internal peers and deliver a portfolio of business by focusing on high impact opportunities. You'll lead presentations and proposals for complex projects and provide subject matter insight to bids and proposals. Drawing on your skills and experience, you'll create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs and contribute to thought leadership. You will package overall project findings into clear, concise, high-quality work products and act as a subject matter resource on one or more service offerings, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape services to client problems.
Client responsibilities
Manage a broad portfolio of projects between $1.5 - $2 million per annum.
Participate in and, as required, lead engagements, using your significant industry experience in oil and gas
Train and coach Black and Green Belts on client site as well as team members, in the continuous improvement methodology
Manage financial aspects of client engagements including negotiation, planning, time management, billing and collection.
Assist partners and directors with generating new business opportunities and building client networks and relationships
Understand our full service offerings and people capabilities and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients
Manage engagement and delivery risk consistent with firm policy
Effective management of pressured deadlines
People responsibilities
Ability work independently, achieving objectives, as well as with small and large teams
Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff
Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff
Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training professionals
Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills
Understand, follow and communicate workplace policies and procedures to all levels of staff
