SPIMMCO- Accountant (copy) - Alghanim Industries Feb 28th 2013, 23:30 Reports to: Accounts Supervisor Basic Function & Scope of Job: Handling of Petty Cash: Ensure all cash payments are properly approved as per policy for cash payments and ensure that vouchers are having the proper supporting. Submitting the petty cash vouchers to Kuwait for reimbursement. Preparing daily Cash receipt and payment report, including petty cash. Cash Disbursement- Ensure timely disbursement of Salary &Wages. Managing Cash safe and ensuring company assets are properly secured. Reconciliation of Cash with GL or Cash book in SAP. Coordinate Trade payables for KSA operations. Ensure all material receipts / services rendered are booked in SAP in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure that invoices are received from suppliers immediately as soon as goods are received and services are rendered. Validate that payments are properly prepared in accordance with group polices prior to authorisation. Maintain accurate and timely bank reconciliations. Ensure all sales dispatches notes are entered into system on daily basis and consumption of materials is also booked on daily basis. Ensure timely completion of stock records. Develop weekly and monthly report on production and dispatches, and reconciliation of inventory. Ensure appropriate control of physical count of inventory as per directions from Kuwait. Ensure all capex spent are monitored and exceptions are flagged Liaison with credit management department for receivables, documentation issues Support the local sales team in the ad hoc request raised Coordinate with Statutory Auditors and other statutory compliance activities in KSA. Act as coordinator for communication with accounting and control team in Kuwait Liaise with Kuwait head office HR department to ensure that proper payroll procedures are followed. Ad hoc duties as assigned by line manager.
