EMPLOYMENT STATUS
Full time Regular Welder
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform welding applications within one or more work teams.
Able to read and understand Engineering drawings, Process charts, check sheets and work related documents.
Capable of welding using MIG/ TIG machine, set up welding parameters based on engineering drawings or welding specifications, marking and measuring the work piece using appropriate special gauges and measuring instruments.
Operate within standard operating procedure and adhering to safety practices.
Perform visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications.
Help facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance through-put within the work team.
Support the team and team's objectives.
Train team members.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3+ years experience. In Welding (TIG & MIG)
Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Added advantage if candidate has any welding qualification / certification
