Officer Pre Operations Control (Scheduling) | Qatar Airways | Doha - Qatar Airways Mar 1st 2013, 10:00 About Job:: In this role, you will be proactively supporting the Operations team through continuous monitoring of the commercial schedule and expeditious recovery during disruptions to it. Ensure commercial opportunities to maximise revenue during the OCC 30 day window are researched and actioned through efficient manipulation and use of the QR fleet. Maintain the published schedule. Monitor the daily schedule and ensure proactive and expeditious measures are taken to avoid disruption to it. Additionally, you will analyse the impact of required or requested schedule changes to ensure the most cost effective solution is implemented. Facilitate ad-hoc requests for QR Commercial and Cargo to maximise revenue. Action and publish day of Operations 30 day window required schedule changes. Ensure that all aircraft are allocated to the published schedule in the operational window. Ensure that Qatar Airways aircraft receive required maintenance slots for the safe operation of all aircraft. Also, you will liaise with Engineering for the change of maintenance slots to maintain the published schedule within QR, manufacturer and QCAA guidelines. Assist managing disruptions to networks in a cost efficient manner while maintaining customer service standards. Minimise disruptions to airline's maintenance plans in a cost efficient manner while maintaining customer service standards. Ensure that both CAA and company aircraft maintenance rules and regulations are complied with Cascade all relevant operational information to required stakeholders. About You:: To be successful in this role you will have a minimum education of Bachelor's Degree.  You must have a minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Operations Control Scheduling or similar role. Must have thorough understanding of maintenance requirements and aircraft operational requirements and limitations Intermediate level of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook) skills. English communication skills. Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
