On job trainer - Production Chemistry - IRS International Recruitment Services Mar 16th 2013, 08:14 For one of our clients in Oman we are looking to find a Production Chemistry on job Trainer - whose key responsibilities will be to train and develop our clients' PC staff in the areas of laboratory operation, field chemistry and new Production Chemists intake ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Working with PC/ lab chemistry staff team you will improve and safeguard all field laboratories operations by providing the laboratory staff with training in the key knowledge and skills needed to perform their jobs while keeping up with industry developments. Your direct and indirect ports could be up to 20 lab and field chemistry staff inclusive contractor chemists working within labs HSE related: ------------------ • Help to maintain a high level of safety awareness and standards in all daily duties and tasks and provide guidance on safe working practices. • Ensure healthy safeguarding systems for minimum production interruption • Accountable for ensuring implementation and adherence to the requirements of the HSE Management System. • Ensure lab staff are adhering to HSE standards and procedures The challenge ------------------- • The challenge is to ensure all lab staff are equipped with knowledge and skills required to not only meet ISO17025 technical requirements, but also to improve confidence and keep them motivated. • Projects/operations testing requirements will demand the deployment of new technologies;. Principal Accountabilities ------------------------------------ On Job Trainer shall provide a wide range of laboratory support services to the oil and gas laboratory operations industry inclusive but not limited to:- • Personnel Competency Assessment Program/GAP analyses; • Training of Oilfield Personnel; • Technical Authorship of Laboratory Procedures Manuals • Technical Advice and Consultancy; • EPBM 25, Blade-28 OR&A • Develop training modules and maintain records for all staffs training/ competence program • Plan and conduct class room training including hand on experience.
