Site Engineer - Purewater Technology Mar 17th 2013, 06:05 The ideal candidate is a Site (Civil engineer / mechanical engineer) with min six years experience in construction of waste water treatment plant projects and related construction activities.(Project in Western Region - Abu Dhabi) Responsibilities: • Carrying out all Mechanical equipment installation activities for waste water treatment plants. • Preparing technical submittals, compliance statements, FAT and SAT schedules. • Preparing method statements. • Prepares necessary documents for the completion of work such as Manufacture dossier, CMMS, As-Built drawings, O&M manuals and have them authorized by the consultants & Client. • Attends regular meeting with client, civil engineers, mechanical Engineers and consultant to provide update on project progress. • Supervises and monitors project progress through site general supervisors from project initiation and close out and to ensure mile stones achieved are per contractual obligation and clients/ consultant satisfaction. • Managing site subcontractors works and progress. • Attending meetings with Client / Consultant / Local Authorities if any. • Oversees quality control and safety matter on the site and ensures that regulations are adhered to. • Handles and supervises all Mechanical works and ensures that installation activities are complying with contractual obligations and quality control standards. • Pre-resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems at site that may arise at any time. • Supervises the selection and requisition of materials to be used for site installation and maintenance. • Prepares / supervised necessary documents for the completion of work and have them authorized by the consultants after inspection. • Prepares periodical progress reports such as weekly/biweekly, monthly, project inspection and close out reports.
