My client, world's top commercial air conditioning manufacturer is required a General Manager for thier office in Dubai.
The General Manager - direct report to Sales Director . The General Manager- also has functional reporting to the MD on Corporate function areas like Admin HR, Finance, Accounting and Legal. The primary sole includes managing the Sales & Non Sales function to grow top line revenue and expand market share.
Principal Responsibilities
· Develop & implement various management policies, procedures, manuals in accordance with Corporate policies & Procedures.
· Drive overall sales revenues objective and profitability within MENA region. Developing a new pipeline of business will be crucial for success in this role.
· Influence the global business strategies and marketing plans to ensure global business strategist meet the current and future needs.
· Provide "leadership by example" to the whole team; increase motivation and retain/develop key talent
· Effectively manage sales, application engineering, service and accounting teams to ensure maximum employee engagement.
· Work with business partners/dealers on a country level to develop effective marketing strategies, growing top line revenue and ensuring satisfactory margins.
· Oversee the management and key accounts/customers to ensure all customer needs/complaints are resolved satisfactorily.
· Prepare sales analyst and regular monthly report for review and submission with management.
· Improve and enhance the internal operating process so as to increase the productivity and efficiency of the Local Sales Department.
· Monitor process flow of Purchase Order and factory Order to make run. The requirement of equipment if fulfilled and delivered based on agrees quality and time-line.
· Review credit list regularly and follow-up with Sales Engineers responsible for the accounts and make sure payment are collected timely.
· Manage expenses in accordance to approved budget (SG&A)
