Universal Teller - Banque Saudi Fransi Mar 16th 2013, 07:38 Functional Work Direction: This position does not require the provision of functional work to others in the organisation Customer / Supplier / External Contacts: This job has external communication requirements This job has simple communications with Consumer Banking Clients Nature of Position: This job is of a non-supervisory nature, performed by many employees This job receives close supervision The purpose of this role is to provide an effective and helpful service to satisfy customers' needs in all aspects of routine Branch banking matters not covered by the Customer Service section Principal Accountabilities: This job has no budgetary responsibilities Specific accountabilities: Cash handling and daily accountability for cash Accurate provision of services Principal Duties: Undertake deposit and withdrawal requirements of customers Undertake transfer of accounts, Foreign Exchange transactions, issuance of TCs and bill payments Ensure that the ATM's are constantly replenished with cash Cash cheques Issues TCs Close the transaction ledger twice daily Open new accounts for customers Assist customers open their safety deposit boxes Help in bringing in new customers to the Branch Data entry and recall of customer personal and financial information from Bank IT system Initial handling of customer complaints or problems Extra Duties: Take over back office responsibilies in the absence of the back office personnel. Responsible for all ATMs in Jeddah during Eid Performance Measures: Accuracy of work Frequency of error/ unreconciled cash Customer feedback Speed of working Timekeeping Selection Criteria: Essential academic qualification for this job is Secondary School Certificate Basic working knowledge of Consumer Banking is a primary requirement Work experience required.
