The National Health Insurance Company (NHIC) manages and operates Qatar's social health insurance scheme. The scheme envisages health insurance coverage for citizens, foreign residents and visitors in the country. It forms one part of the realization of the National Health Strategy which foresees affordable healthcare for everyone in Qatar and offers participants a choice of providers from across the public and private healthcare providers in the country.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the Enterprise Architecture Section responsible for laying out the business architecture which includes building the functions and processes supporting the actual business, the organization performing the business and the locations where the business is performed.
Owning and maintaining the technology roadmap for the organization, both current and future state.
Owning and maintaining the business capability identification, definition and planning framework.
Owning and managing the planning process to develop enterprise architecture blueprints (capability planning) for the delivery of the enterprise strategy, corporate strategy and core business strategy.
Defining projects required to deliver upon the enterprise, corporate and core business objectives.
Coordinating with subsidiary units on standards for delivery of business unit strategies.
Establishing coordination across business units, support units and IT for strategic projects.
Managing and maintaining capabilities, architecture delivery and technology priorities.
Managing and maintaining relationships with business sponsors.
Ensuring that alignment exists between business and technology stakeholders at all levels.
Supporting financial analysis in the evaluation and definition of the solution options alternatives.
Providing guidance for planning and analysis activities needed to support the success of strategic projects.
Assisting the Information Technology Director in reviewing priorities, and spending against those priorities.
Coaching, mentoring subordinates in the Enterprise Architecture Section for the optimization of their personal potential in order to ensure that the division's objectives are met and exceeded.
Assisting the Information Technology Director in designing and implementing sound policies, processes and procedures across the department to maximise process efficiency and cost optimisation.
