Media Relations Manager-The National Health Insurance Company (NHIC) - Supreme Council of Health (SCH) Jun 16th 2013, 04:17 National Health Insurance Company The National Health Insurance Company (NHIC) manages and operates Qatar's Social Health Insurance Scheme. The scheme will provide mandatory basic health insurance coverage for citizens, foreign residents and visitors in the country. The scheme represents an important pillar of Qatar's National Health Strategy ensuring affordable access to state-of-the-art healthcare for everyone in the country, driving transparency and quality improvement across the system and offering members free choice of providers. NHIC is looking for candidates with relevant expertise and experience to fill the following position. Position : Media Relations Manager Responsibilities: § Development of media communications strategies and key messaging structures in order to communicate with stakeholders about the company § Operational media relations into scheduled activation plans covering manifold media including online § Maintaining media tiering, media lists and a contact board for media including response log management § Sourcing, selecting and management of agencies for media relations, media training, media monitoring and analytics § Consultation, assistance and support for executive management in relations with media outlets § Crisis media communications planning and management as part of the overall crisis management plans § Development of policies for the company on media communications, including key media spokespeople list § Media training planning, structuring and implementation for key spokespeople of the company § Regular media monitoring to cover relevant topics for the company using online systems via agencies § Media analytics, including regular reportage on efficacy of media relations related to activities/channel/intensity and messaging/tonality § Development, coaching and mentoring of junior team § Financial management of budgets for media relations Job Details Date Posted: 2013-06-16 Job Location: Doha, Qatar Job Role: Writing/Editing Company Industry: Insurance; Healthcare, Practitioner and Technician; Healthcare, other Preferred Candidate Career Level: Management Degree: Bachelor's degree / higher diploma Apply Now - Jobs in Qatar - Search All Jobs
