This role will focus on recruiting students into the North American Higher Education portfolio. Based within partner University campuses, our International Study Centers in North America deliver University-branded pathway programs at undergraduate and graduate levels.
We are now seeking an experienced, commercial and energetic Deputy Director/Senior Manager, to lead a team to successfully deliver our multi-channel student recruitment strategy for this key part of our business. The position will be global in nature, specialising in working with our Accounts (smaller agents and feeder schools), as well as supporting our Direct Sales efforts.
This is an ideal position for an experienced sales and marketing leader to move into the exciting international education industry, or sales and marketing leaders within the international education industry looking to further their careers with one of the industry's leading organisations.
The position will involve significant travel in market, as well as to North America.
Key Accountabilities:
• Work closely with the Partner and Accounts teams to develop best in class sales and sales support.
• Leading a geographically dispersed team of 4-6 staff to grow sales through the established channels of key education agents and feeder schools
• Work with the North American division's leadership team, as well as in-market agent and feeder school management teams to develop multi-channel growth strategies to deliver revenue, profit and student diversity targets
• Work with the Partner and Accounts teams to research and engage new Agent and Feeder School partners to deliver growth to the North American division
• Participate in annual target setting and negotiation with the Partner and Accounts teams management teams and their agents
• Ownership and management of the North American sales plan and cost budget for area of accountability, in conjunction with the Partner and Accounts team
• Liaise between Study Group admissions team, agents/feeder school network, Accounts team, and our campuses to ensure a high service levels, including resolution of enrolment and student service issues
• Lead the product and regulatory compliance education and training plan for both internal and external stakeholders in-market
• Lead the team to deliver conversion activities including attendance at events and discussions with potential students and parents
• Represent the North American University partners and Study Group at key promotional events
• Co-ordinate attendance and participate in campus familiarisation trips
• Gain and provide in-depth market knowledge on the North American international student market
• Support the leadership of a best in class sales team through setting and communicating high standards of performance and behaviour
• Lead on cross-team functions as required
• Deputise for the Global Recruitment Director as required
