Our client is seeking a Director of Operations & Special Events, The candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing and controlling a range of events and activities. He/she will work closely with the project, marketing and operational groups to develop and maintain all aspects of the event process. In this capacity, the Director will work with multiple clients to fulfill and execute custom driven events and activities and to fulfill all aspects of the event organization. Events will include gala dinners, award ceremonies, fashion shows, competitions, cat walks etc.
The candidate must be able develop, direct and monitor the operations' planning and execution of the exhibitions, pan, manage and control the budget for executing the operations and logistical requirements, and provide leadership, support, coaching, training and direction to the operations team.
This job requires an event specialist with at least 8 years of strategic development and sales and marketing experience with events with at least 3 years in senior management position.
