Description:
The senior Java Developer will join the platform development group of QMIC. The group is responsible for the architecture, development and delivery of software-based solutions and applications targeting different industry sectors including Intelligent Transportation, Environment, and Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Designing and developing software-based platforms according to product specifications while meeting strict deadlines. The design is expected to be done in a way that best ensures that functional requirements are met whilst also ensure that service qualities (Performance, scalability, extensibility etc) for now and for the future are achievable.
• Realize the Data Model design by developing high quality / super fast SQL queries.
• Realize the detailed design by doing high quality Java coding and web-services
• Develop automated unit testing using JUnit framework.
• Participate in Peer reviews and Code review using Crucible tool
• Transfer knowledge and know-how to other developers
• Ability to research new technologies, tools and solutions resulting in new and interesting ideas for our products, services and processes.
• Implement and maintain software applications using a variety of tools and solutions.
