Senior Manager Technical Materials Planning | Qatar Airways | Doha - Qatar Airways Jul 19th 2013, 05:00 Department: Our technical supply chain department is changing...fast! Doubling our fleet size means that we need to be more automated.  Therefore,  supply chain will move to operating state of the art facilities for their Materials Planning division. Person: We need a candidate to manage this change, someone who has come from implementing state of the art systems and processes within supply chain and materials planning. You will be leading the Technical Materials Planning department in support of scheduled, non-scheduled and cabin maintenance activity for our global airline group. ERP accuracy, provisioning of aircraft spares, ground servicing equipment and tooling whilst maintaining optimised service level and stock rotation will be your key responsibility in your current role, ideally in an Airline.  However, we are happy to consider candidates from a technical supply chain background within other industries. You will be responsible for the management of over 100,000 rotables, repairables, consumables and expendable line items with a value of over $1bn.  Stock holding and stock availability are key within this position.
