Medical Representative, Food Supplement Aug 22nd 2013, 05:33 Job Purpose Sales & Marketing with technical support for assigned suppliers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Product development: Launching new products and following up until it takes a lead position at retail thus achieving overall market leader position. 2. Keeping the retailer and practitioner well informed by providing technical articles and studies. Training the secretaries and assistants about the products and their indications, side effects & contradictions. 3. Maintaining company's high image, high work ethics, superior product knowledge, and familiarity with various procedures, handling complaints professionally, taking responsibility and answering to various queries knowledgeably. 4. Selling high when possible and not giving bonus other than those approved by Division Head/ Department Manager. 5. Know all the competitive products inside-out starting with composition, packaging, prices and offers & how own product compares to others. 6. Accurate reporting of visits, customer's feedback, concerns, competition and other market issues to Division Head / Department Head. 7. Initiative at analyzing market issues and proposing corrective solutions & measures for discussion and approval of Division Head. 8. Continuously searching for new opportunities in the market to develop and grow the business. Selling Functions include: • New product introduction • Follow up on existing products used • Trouble shooting with existing products • Full product line selling • Full Territory Coverage: minimum 10 completed visits per day and visiting all customers in one's area.
