Operations Management Specialist (based in Kuwait) - Manpower Middle East Aug 25th 2013, 07:53 Our client, a Multinational logistics management company is currently looking for an Operations Management Specialist who will be responsible for supporting the management in achieving departmental results and objectives by performing a range of professional level duties including coordinating defined people related areas, analyzing operational issues and result, as well as participating in continuous improvement initiatives. The role is based in Kuwait and requires local experience and knowledge. The position is based in Kuwait. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to: Supports the manager in identifying training needs for the individual/team/ department by analysing operational performance results/statistics and by reviewing employee and team performance against key service indicators. Provides employee feedback and coaching as needed to achieve required standards/compliance. Keeps the manager updated on progress made and issues encountered. Monitors defined aspects of safety and security for an assigned area in order to identify any non-compliance with defined company standards and wide-ranging legislative requirements. Supports the manager in identifying training needs for the individual/team/ department by analysing operational performance results/statistics and by reviewing employee and team performance against key service indicators. Includes benchmarking with relevant areas, developing and implementing corrective action plans, and providing timely communications on progress to relevant parties. Supports the manager by performing a range of analytical and administrative duties including collation, analysis and distribution of confidential operational information plus creating and updating computerised and manual records whilst complying with ISO and regulatory standards Assists the manager in reviewing and planning defined elements of the operation such as shift patterns, equipment renewal/repair, allocation of duties. Includes collating and analysing information, creation of realistic and workable plans.
